From opening for Emmett Cohen to playing at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Austin Snavely is an artist who is always up for the challenge. He also has extensive performance experience across multiple venues and settings, including weddings, bars, restaurants, and private events. Austin is still in college at the Eastman School of Music, where he plays in the top band, the Eastman Jazz Orchestra, and studies with Professor Otis Brown III. He has previously studied with Larry Marshall, John Riley, and Rich Thompson, all of whom are world-renowned

musicians. Austin is a 2x Downbeat Award winner and has played in multiple nationally recognized groups. He has also been on two different records and plans to release his own very soon. He is also an advanced studio engineer with vast recording experience in mixing, recording, and mastering! To learn more about him, watch his videos that showcase his talents!

Austin is originally from Douglassville, Pennsylvania (about an hour from Philadelphia) and did many ensembles in the city. His instructors included Louis Scaglione, Justin Faulkner, and Tony Miceli. All three have shaped the way he plays and have influenced many of his goals for later in life. He then, throughout High School, did many of the different PA-auditioned groups, including the NAfME All Eastern Jazz Band led by Bob Stewart. When he got to college he truly blossomed and started his studio engineering journey with Professor Stephen Roessner. Throughout his life he has believed that his engineering and musical journeys will only grow the more he goes through life. He is still continuing his colligic journey and thanks all the people he has met along the way for their continuous support in his goals.

The Artist Behind the Voice And the Motive behind the Music

Personal Note for You!!!

Hey everyone, I just want to say thank you for taking a look at the site, and I really appreciate your support. Now I’m gonna tell you some more stuff I do outside of music because I believe the things you love outside of music helps to influence the music you play. I really enjoy hiking, swimming, and doing pretty much anything that involves adrenaline. I also would love to do some triathlons and some other crazy stuff that is still on my bucket list. Anyways, thanks for checking this out, and have fun exploring your music and things you love to do :)!!!
